At the end of the course you will feel confident to cope with the following scenarios and more: heart attack, stroke, no breathing, asthma, cuts, wounds and fractures, car accidents, diabetes, electrocution and overdose.

  • primary survey, trauma/non-trauma
  • the "chain of survival"
  • rescue breathing and CPR
  • choking management
  • first aid kits
  • control of bleeding
  • shock management
  • secondary surveys - injury and illness
  • typical injuries
  • typical illnesses
  • the accident book and reporting of accidents at work
